"I’ve been using it right in Chrome..."
I’ve been using it right in Chrome, it’s been easy to figure out. I didn’t have to mess around with much to get going, which I appreciated. The only thing I’ve noticed is that it can lag a bit sometimes, but overall it works fine for what I need.

"Really clean, really easy recordings"
I recorded some guitar and vocals right in my room, it came out way cleaner than I thought it would. Like, really clean. I didn’t notice any weird background noise or lag or anything, so it was smooth for me.

"Editing tools are kind of limited"
I tried using Soundtrap for a few small audio things, and at first it seemed decent. But after a while, the editing tools started to feel a bit frustrating. You can cut clips and move stuff around, but it’s kind of clunky and doesn’t always feel super accurate.
The effects are okay for basic stuff, but if you’re trying to fine-tune things or do more detailed edits, it feels like there just isn’t quite enough control. It also lagged here and there in my browser. It’s probably fine for quick ideas or messing around, but I wouldn’t really use it for anything too serious.

"Pretty smooth overall, though maybe a little laggy at times"
It runs smoothly for the most part, at least from what I’ve noticed. Every now and then there’s a bit of latency, though I’m not sure if that’s the app itself or maybe my connection acting up. Overall, still a good experience.

"Easy to use, even if you're new"
I’m a beginner and found it really easy to get the hang of. Everything felt straightforward, which was a relief. I’m still a little skeptical about dealing with customer service if something goes wrong, but so far I haven’t really needed them.

"I just wanted to try Soundtrap out for..."
I just wanted to try Soundtrap out for a little while, but the whole subscription setup was kind of confusing. I was sure I cancelled it, but then I got charged again anyway. I reached out to support, and they took ages to get back to me, plus they weren’t super helpful. it just wasn’t worth the hassle for me.

"Pretty good for my music class"
For my music class, this has been good, honestly. The students like it a lot, and setup was not too bad, kinda easy it was after I got going.

"Support was painfully slow"
I waited days just to get what looked like a lazy copy-paste reply. it felt like the bare minimum from support, and it didn’t help at all. Disappointing.

"I mostly use Soundtrap to work on songs..."
I mostly use Soundtrap to work on songs with a friend, it’s convenient when everything is running right. It’s nice being able to share a project and both hop in without having to send audio files back and forth or worry about who has the latest version.
That said, it’s not always super smooth... sometimes changes take a bit to show up, or the session starts feeling laggy. The chat and comments work fine, but they’re basic. I still like using it, I just wish the whole experience felt a little more polished.

"Not gonna lie, it’s hit or miss on different devices"
Not gonna lie, Soundtrap is decent when it actually works right, but the device support has been kind of frustrating for me. It usually loads fine on my laptop, but on my tablet it starts lagging and some features don’t open the way they should. Using it on my phone is even worse, it just feels clunky and awkward. I really wish it worked more consistently across all my devices.

"Good idea, but the pricing got frustrating"
I used soundtrap for a little while and had mixed feelings about it. On one hand, it’s fun to mess around with and I can see why people like it, especially if you’re just playing with ideas. But then I kept running into things that were locked behind paid plans, and the free version started feeling limited really fast. It was frustrating because I’d get into a project, hit a wall, and then realize I’d need to pay more to keep going. For the price, I expected the tools to feel smoother and more stuff to be included. I ended up canceling because paying every month just didn’t make sense for what I was getting.

"Wish I’d Known Exporting Would Be This Annoying"
I had a good time making tracks in Soundtrap at first, which is why this was so frustrating. I got into the creative side of it, but once I actually wanted to export or share what I made, I started regretting putting that much time into it.

The export options felt slower and more limited than I expected, and sharing links wasn’t nearly as straightforward as it should’ve been. I kept having to walk people through how to open stuff, and even then, sometimes it just didn’t work properly.
For a music app, getting your work out should feel like one of the easiest parts. Instead, it made the whole experience feel like a hassle, and I kind of wish I’d figured that out before I got invested.

"Really like it, but the saving confuses me"
I enjoy using Soundtrap to make tracks, but I’m kind of confused by the saving. A few times I thought everything was saved, then I came back later and parts of the project were just missing. I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong or if the app is glitching, but it makes me nervous to use it for anything important. It’s fun when it works, but the saving issue is a big deal.

"Loops are decent"
I’ve only messed around with it a bit so far, but the loops are solid and easy enough to use. The instruments feel a little limited though, like I kept wishing there were a few more options to play with.
